CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as an ON-SITE Regional Banking Center Officer for our Jackson County Offices in Michigan. This position will be based out of our Jackson Spring Arbor Rd. location in Jackson, Michigan.
JOB SUMMARY A
Regional Banking Center Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight and support to branch locations within the region. This role will ensure consistent execution of sales goals, service, and operational excellence. Each region will include multiple branches including Branch Managers and their teams, guiding them to achieve performance goals in deposit growth, consumer lending, client satisfaction, and community engagement. The Regional Banking Center Manager cultivates strong leaders by coaching Branch Managers to deepen market presence and deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Branch Managers within the assigned region Set clear expectations for sales, service, operational compliance, and overall branch performance Implement regional strategies to achieve growth targets in deposits, consumer lending, and profitability. Monitor branch operations, including cash management, audits, and risk mitigation practices Track branch-level metrics such as loan growth, deposit retention, and overall financial performance Engage with local business leaders, municipalities, and civic organizations to strengthen relationships Collaborate with internal business partners to deepen client relationships and expand product penetration Promote a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and security awareness Serve as a liaison between branch locations and support teams to ensure alignment and resolve operational challenges. May perform various other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field, or combination of equivalent education experience Minimum of eight years of relevant experiencePreferred:
Previous experience in a rural or small-market banking SKILLS Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and associates both verbally and in writing Understanding of financial reports, metrics, and performance indicators Capable of coaching, motivating, and developing associates Strong interpersonal skills to drive branch growth Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth branch operations. Technologically proficient including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with cybersecurity best practices Problem-solving and independent decision-making capability to handle daily operations Ability to manage conflict and resolve disputes professionallyWORK ENVIROMENT
