Banking Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $270MM Michigan bank in the search for Branch Managers to lead locations in Northwest Oakland County and Western Wayne County. This is an opportunity for a community-focused leader to take ownership of branch operations, drive growth, and build meaningful relationships with both consumer and business clients.
Position Overview:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations with a strong emphasis on compliance, security, and regulatory standards. This individual will lead from the front, developing a high-performing team, delivering exceptional client experiences, and driving business growth through personalized service, strategic referrals, and community engagement.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field. Minimum of two years of management experience in supervising staff within a financial institution. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills required with consistent follow-through and close attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
Managing the overall operations of the branch, adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory related policies and procedures. Managing portfolio of high value consumer and business customers, leading the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to meet needs, deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Leading team to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues. Leveraging available tools and technology to identify and present sales and service opportunities. Maintaining knowledge and educating team on all products, services, technology, and policies. Maintaining active involvement in the community, developing key business and community relationships.
