The Opportunity:
We are seeking a VP, Branch Manager to join our White Lake branch. This role is responsible for all branch sales and service including loans, membership and cash functions. Interpret and enforce compliance with DFCU Financial policies and procedures for employees and members. Effectively manage employees through coaching and discipline. Maintain open communication within the branch and with other departments.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for branch budget including sales goals, loan, deposit and investment products, and the promotion of activities to increase branch profitability.

Responsible for overall compliance with DFCU Financial policies and procedures.

Maintain a high level of quality service within the branch.

Write and administer performance reviews.

Coach and develop branch staff to achieve superior performance, including meeting sales goals.

Effectively communicate changes in policy and procedures and make exceptions, when necessary.

Resolve member disputes and defuse possible conflict.

Interpret and act on information in management reports.

Maintain knowledge of credit union consumer loan policies and procedures.

Oversee the complete loan process within the branch.

Oversee schedule for cash and platform staff for efficient branch coverage.

Perform duties of Vault Teller, as required.

Provide notary and medallion signature guarantee services.

Provide membership, loan and cash services.

Use member data to proactively offer additional products and services to members.

Promote DFCU Financial in the community through involvement in community service activities and functions.

Responsible for branch operations and supervision of branch staff.

Maintain and enforce professional appearance following established dress code guidelines.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree preferred in a business related field.

Five years' experience in a sales/financial position.

Two years' financial institution management experience.

Consumer loan experience, from taking application through closing.

Understanding of regulatory requirements.

Proven sales experience with proof of results.

Proven leadership skills including individual and team development.

Demonstrated understanding of the budgeting process.

Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.

Proficient in Microsoft 365.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to initiate and embrace change.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
