The Branch Manager I position will lead one of our highest‑traffic locations and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results. This role is perfect for a confident, people‑focused leader who communicates clearly, builds trust quickly, and knows how to motivate others through coaching and accountability. Our focus in hiring for this position is on your skills, leadership approach, and ability to deliver results, with less emphasis on formal education or years of experience. What You Will Do Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching and feedback Drive branch performance across sales, service, and operations Build trust with customers and employees through strong communication Offer support to branch customers by providing guidance and assistance with deposit transactions, lending solutions, and banking services, based on their needs Respond quickly and effectively to customer and team needs Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Resolve challenges and conflicts in a constructive manner Take a proactive approach to tracking and resolving outstanding compliance and audit exceptions Deliver exceptional service in alignment with NBC's core values.
Qualified candidates will have:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Strong listening and relationship-building skills Proven ability to coach, develop, and lead others Ability to adapt and stay flexible in a dynamic environment Strong time management and prioritization skills Ability to resolve conflicts and make sound decisions Drive to achieve results and lead a successful team Comply with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations. Ability to always exhibit NBC core values: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Accountability Full-time annualized starting salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000, contingent on relevant skills, training, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
