00 per hour Corner Home Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to oversee the daily operations of their assigned branch location. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture across multiple locations. The Area Manager works closely with executive leadership and branch teams to improve efficiency, accountability, and overall performance. Maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Promote and protect the Corner Home Medical brand, reputation, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Provide leadership and oversight to managers and staff across assigned branch. Foster an accountable, performance-driven, and positive work environment. Direct the overall operations, coordination, and evaluation of assigned branch. Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and develop employees in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Review operational records, reports, and documentation to identify deviations and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company standards related to safekeeping of funds, personnel practices, grievance procedures, and government regulations. Analyze operating costs, revenues, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth. Prepare and present recommendations to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and reduce costs. Address patient complaints and oversee claim resolutions in alignment with company public relations policies. Inspect branch facilities to ensure cleanliness, appearance, safety, and maintenance standards are met. Travel regularly between branch locations to ensure consistency and compliance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and company training programs. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and other departments. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university OR at least 5 years of DME Customer Service or operations experience. Strong understanding of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) market. Valid Minnesota driver's license. Proven leadership and supervisory experience. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions. Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, solution-focused approach. Willingness to travel between branch locations. Working knowledge of Brightree software preferred (training provided). Ability to quickly learn departmental programs, policies, and procedures. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, and team-oriented. Proficient in computer systems including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, payroll, inventory, and project management software. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a standard office environment and use typical office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and copiers. Ability to sit for extended periods and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions. Ability to lift and carry files up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds. Walking, driving, and limited physical exertion required. Work Environment Primarily office-based with frequent travel by vehicle to assigned branch locations. Flexibility required to accommodate business needs and occasional schedule adjustments.
