Branch Manager Web-Don Inc - 3.2 Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time From $75,000 a year 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Sales support Inventory management Team leadership Team development Hiring On-time delivery rate (success metric) Production management Lean Six Sigma Productivity Staffing management Full Job Description About the role Web-Don is hiring a Branch Manager to own the full operational and commercial performance of our Charlotte campus, which spans facilities on Ameron Dr. and Terminal St. You will run a branch that fulfills orders accurately and on time, controls costs, and keeps people and equipment safe — while making sure every customer interaction supports the sales that keep the branch growing. This is a high-accountability leadership role.
Operations comes first:
a branch that runs well is a branch that sells well. If you take pride in a warehouse and inside-sales team that hits its numbers, fixes problems fast, and earns repeat business, we want to talk to you. What you'll own Operations (your first priority): Fulfillment and throughput — drive order accuracy, and on-time delivery as daily, non-negotiable metrics; flag backorders and supply disruptions before customers ask. Inventory integrity — keep physical inventory accurate at or above company standard; minimize shrink, damage, and dead stock; partner with the Inventory Manager on receiving, cycle counts, and stock rotation. Facilities, equipment, and safety — keep the campus operational, organized, and safe; enforce the corporate safety program and full OSHA compliance without exception. Cost and efficiency — own the branch's operational cost structure; drive labor efficiency, reduce waste and rework, and control freight and overhead within budget. Sales support (your second priority): Treat every order, delivery, and issue resolution as a sales event that earns — or loses — repeat business. Equip inside sales with accurate, real-time inventory and lead-time information so they can quote with confidence. Know the branch's revenue, gross margin, and profitability targets, and make operational decisions with full margin awareness. People and team (the foundation): Maintain appropriate staffing levels; run structured quarterly performance reviews; address underperformance promptly and recognize strong work specifically. Develop your people Collaborate across branches, share what works, and help standardize processes company-wide. How success is measured This role is held to specific, reportable standards, including: On-time delivery rate at or above company target (tracked weekly) Order accuracy at or above company target (errors per 100 orders) Inventory accuracy at or above company target on cycle counts Branch gross margin and revenue at or above target (reviewed monthly) Operating costs within approved Opex and Capex budgets Zero preventable OSHA recordables; monthly safety audits completed 100% of direct reports reviewed on schedule; team engagement at or above company baseline What we're looking for 5+ years of experience managing operations, a branch, a warehouse, or a distribution facility. A track record of hitting fulfillment, accuracy, and cost targets in a fast-moving environment. Working knowledge of inventory management, OSHA / workplace safety, and budget ownership (Opex/Capex). Proven people leadership — hiring, coaching, performance management, and developing a bench.
