Full Job Description Company Description:
Our repossession company specializes in the recovery of vehicles and assets on behalf of financial institutions, leasing companies, and other creditors. We have built a strong reputation for professionalism, efficiency, and customer service. As a Lot Manager , you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily lot operations and ensuring all repossession activities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Lot Manager Job Responsibilities:
Lot Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the vehicle storage lot, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
Vehicle Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of all vehicles and assets in company possession, including make, model, VIN, condition, and status.
Towing & Recovery Coordination:
Utilize towing and recovery experience to assist with vehicle intake, positioning, and movement within the lot. Coordinate with tow truck drivers and recovery agents as needed.
Vehicle Inspections:
Conduct and oversee detailed inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles. Document vehicle conditions through reports and photographs for legal and administrative purposes.
Lot Organization:
Strategically organize vehicles to maximize space, accessibility, and efficiency for releases, transports, and audits.
Security & Safety Oversight:
Ensure the lot remains secure at all times by monitoring activity, enforcing safety protocols, and addressing potential hazards or security concerns.
Lot Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and functional lot. Coordinate light maintenance, equipment upkeep, and debris removal.
Administrative & Team Support:
Handle paperwork, update databases, prepare documentation, and communicate with office staff, lenders, and recovery agents. Provide leadership and guidance to lot staff as needed.
Requirements:
Previous towing or tow truck experience (preferred). Experience in repossession, towing, automotive, or vehicle recovery operations. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Strong organizational and leadership skills with excellent attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting.
