With multiple locations and continued expansion, we're seeking a Branch Operations Manager who enjoys leading people, building strong teams, improving operations, and driving business results. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys creating accountability, developing employees, improving processes, and helping a team achieve its full potential. What You'll Do Lead and Develop People Recruit, coach, and develop a team of rental coordinators, drivers, mechanics, and yard personnel. Conduct regular coaching conversations and performance discussions. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Develop future leaders within the organization. Ensure company standards and core values are consistently upheld. Drive Branch Performance Take ownership of branch revenue, profitability, utilization, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. Monitor key performance indicators and implement action plans to improve results. Manage labor expenses, staffing levels, scheduling, and operational budgets. Support sales growth through exceptional customer service and strong team execution. Improve Operations Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, and workflow. Lead implementation of new processes and company initiatives. Collaborate with other branches and departments to improve company-wide performance. Ensure equipment readiness, maintenance standards, safety procedures, and fleet appearance are consistently achieved. Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience Build strong relationships with customers and employees. Resolve issues professionally and promptly. Ensure the branch consistently delivers a high level of service and professionalism. Success in This Role Requires A genuine interest in coaching, developing, and leading people. The ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining positive working relationships. Confidence making decisions and taking ownership of outcomes. Strong communication and leadership skills. A willingness to embrace change and lead others through change. The ability to balance operational details with broader business objectives. A team-first mindset and a desire to help others succeed. What We're Looking For 1+ years of leadership experience in equipment rental, tool rental, contractor supply, construction materials, industrial distribution, heavy equipment, building products, or a closely related industry. Strong understanding of equipment utilization, fleet management, dispatching, service operations, inventory management, and customer service. Proven experience leading and developing employees. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing performance, accountability, and team development. Ability to analyze branch performance and implement improvements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Mechanical aptitude or equipment industry experience is beneficial but not required. Valid driver's license.
