Is a heating and air conditioning wholesale distributor offering Carrier, Bryant, Payne and Day and Night equipment alongside a generous line of parts and supplies. After 41 years in business, the company has 17 locations across the state of Texas. The company is uniquely situated in the market because it is large enough to serve many locations in Texas while retaining the family-owned feel that started in 1979. Robert Madden employees penned and adopted a company mission statement, "Building Dependable Partnerships" in 1999. We still believe a dependable partnership is directly related to the time invested in it. The Branch Manager is responsible for effective and profitable management of personnel, inventory and customer service. Working with other managers and sales representatives to establish and meet sales goals, in addition to hiring, developing and training personnel.
Essential/Position Responsibilities:
Identifying and generating customers. Distribution and sales. Inventory control. Knowledge of material handling equipment in order to safely move product. Highly motivated and energetic person with hands on management experience required. Strong communication and written skills required. Proven ability of leading, directing and motivating a team to achieve their potential. Complete understanding of HVAC industry is required. Must possess strong desire to learn new concepts in the HVAC industry. Ability to perform mathematical computations, including but not limited to basic math and calculations to determine equipment size needed by customers. Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Availability to travel to other Company locations. Strong attention to detail and highly organized. Build strong relationships with internal personnel and contractors while meeting customer needs and standards for service. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position directly carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with RMI's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directly work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications, Education and/or
Experience:
Five or more years' experience in managing people. Developing and delivering results on a timely basis . Able to work in an ambiguous, team-first environment. Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgement in stressful situations. Computer Skills Word Excel Outlook Windows based software
