Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our established well pump, water system and plumbing wholesale distribution location. This manager will oversee daily store activities, manage a diverse team, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales growth, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a positive environment that motivates staff and provide superior customer service. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store functions, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and administrative tasks. Interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth. Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment. Oversee inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and ensure accurate inventory. Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients. Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations while fostering a positive work environment. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or wholesale environments with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated expertise in employee management, training & development. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping tools, and retail math calculations. Experience supervising staff in retail sales environments with a focus on customer service excellence. Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and store operations management. Ability to lead teams effectively through shift management while maintaining high standards of customer service. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork; previous assistant manager experience is highly valued.
