Since 1935, our local dairy has been committed to providing customers with exceptional service and wholesome products that meet the highest standards of food safety and quality! Schneider's Dairy is currently accepting applications for a full-time Branch Manager for our Seneca and Erie facilities. This position is responsible for the overall management of employees and facilities while ensuring the safety and accuracy of workflows. The ideal candidate for this position will be a leader with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with sales, other Schneider's branches and departments, staff, other carriers, and vendors. Handle phone calls from employees and customers. Schedule employee hours on a weekly/daily basis, control overtime hours, and monitor employee vacation schedules. Ensure buildings and trucks are secure and functioning properly. Ensure product inventory is accounted for and properly rotated to ensure lack of waste or damaged product. Coordinate orders are placed and picked up from vendors. Responsible for the distribution of customer correspondence to stores. Run routes or deliveries as needed if no employee is available. Oversee driver DOT files, ensure licenses are up-to-date, and notify employees when they are selected for random drug screening. Verify payroll Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately. Verify paperwork and deposits are correct and sent to Pittsburgh in a timely manner. Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

CDL Class B required CDL Class A preferred High school diploma or equivalent 3-4 years operation management experience 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic mathematical skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office High level of accountability, time management and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
