Job Description

Company Overview The founders of Credit Central had one target in mind when they started Credit Central in July 2002: Make loans as easy as possible. The motto turned into a huge success story. Credit Central has grown to more than 160 loan offices in 6 states: Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. Job Summary The Branch Manager's primary responsibility is to supervise external marketing initiatives and credit and collections processes. This role is crucial for meeting monthly and annual performance objectives, driving business expansion, ensuring exceptional customer service, and effectively managing staff members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate strong customer relationships Develop and implement an efficient daily routine encompassing credit extension, collection functions, and cash and asset control Efficiently supervise a team of 2-4 employees, including training and development initiatives Identify and nurture talented employees for advancement opportunities and career growth In applicable states, create written descriptions and appraise the value of security Make sound underwriting decisions regarding loan amounts and terms for applications in accordance with company policy Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring employee compliance Generate weekly progress reports and maintain daily/weekly reports Participate in and successfully complete company-required training Meet monthly performance standards Strategize and implement external marketing and collection strategies as necessary Motivate employees to achieve and exceed performance standards Embrace change with a positive mindset while fostering a constructive attitude within the team Effectively communicate with staff, team members, and customers Maintain a clean and organized office environment, ensuring the secure filing of loan and sensitive information
REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: High school Diploma or equivalent education Preferred previous experience in finance/credit and customer service roles Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred Demonstrated management and organizational skills Thorough understanding of state and federal credit lending regulations Consistent attendance and strong work ethic, punctual and reliable on all scheduled workdays Strong customer service abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team with a positive demeanor A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding employment credit and background checks Ability to meet licensing requirements from various states based on a criminal background check
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in an office environment with some exposure to outside environment. This position requires sitting for long periods of time and frequent use of a keyboard. Occasional local travel is required, as well as sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 5 pounds unassisted.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as performance goals demand.
