Store Manager - Kingstree, SC Vereens Stores Full-Time | Monday-Friday Job Summary Vereens Stores is seeking a driven and organized Store Manager to lead operations at our high-volume Kingstree, SC location. This position is heavily focused on logistics, inventory flow, and operational efficiency, with a strong emphasis on receiving product from our fertilizer plant and coordinating outbound deliveries to customers accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage a fast-paced warehouse environment, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep product moving efficiently through the operation. Agriculture is also a major part of our customer base in the Kingstree market. This role requires someone who understands the importance of supporting both retail and agricultural customers with dependable service, product availability, and timely delivery during peak seasons. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily warehouse and store operations Manage high-volume inventory movement and logistics coordination Receive and process incoming product shipments from the fertilizer plant Ensure inventory accuracy and proper product rotation Coordinate delivery scheduling and maintain shipping accuracy Supervise warehouse staff and daily scheduling Maintain excellent customer service standards for both retail and agricultural customers Monitor operational efficiency and quality control procedures Work closely with drivers, plant personnel, and customers to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Previous management or warehouse leadership experience preferred Strong logistics and inventory management background Experience in agriculture, fertilizer, landscape supply, or distribution environments is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Strong communication and problem-solving skills Forklift and warehouse operations experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive guaranteed base salary Performance-based bonus tied to store operations and inventory volume Medical insurance Dental insurance 401(k) with profit sharing About Vereens Vereens is a 62-year-old family-owned company built on hard work, strong customer relationships, and dependable service.
