GENERAL MANAGER
Olympic Move Group's family of companies is growing! We are seeking an individual who can lead our Bremerton, WA branch office as a General Manager. You will oversee all branch operations from managing staff, financial accountability (including sales targets), and driving business growth by implanting company strategy, building community relationships, and maintaining compliance. Essential Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Produce budgeted annual profit by developing and managing a budget for the branch. Manage and retain staff.
This includes:
following company hiring procedures, ensuring regular performance and wage reviews, mentoring employees, establishing an atmosphere that supports high morale. Maintain the quality and professionalism of the services provided by ensuring that employees are sufficiently trained and properly attired, by ensuring that the services provided are of the highest quality, and by ensuring that customer issues are resolved professionally and ethically. Manage and maintain company assets in such a way that will prolong their usefulness, maintain a professional image, and ensure their continued viability for the company. Manage revenue production by developing sales quotas, developing a revenue budget and overall development of revenue production. Manage budgets, control costs, monitor financial performance, and meet sales goals. Ensure safety compliance by establishing protocols to prevent accidents, by following all safety policies and procedures, and by promptly reporting all problems and accidents/incidents. Manage the branch administration processes to ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting. Also includes analyzing monthly statements and reports. Establish and maintain compliance in all areas, including but not limited to: DOT compliance; Policy and Procedure compliance; Bekins Moving & Storage Company Employee Handbook compliance; local, state & federal laws and rules compliance. Make certain that all contractual obligation of the branch and company, related to their branch, are met. Maintain positive public relations within the community.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:
Preference given for industry experience. Four (4) years management experience which includes leading a team. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent relevant experience. Financial acumen Time management and multitasking abilities Ability to speak and write the English language at a professional level. Ability to comprehend and implement written, verbal and oral instructions quickly. Proficiency with MS Office, CRM software, internet navigation.
