Shift:

Monday to Friday Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, the Accounts Payable Clerk is part of KAG s accounting group at our Edmonton Head Office. Our work environment is fast-paced and we re often challenged with tight deadlines. This is a great opportunity for a process-orientated Accounting Clerk to take on a diverse and exciting role.

About the position:

Ensuring required backup is included with the invoice (PO, accurate coding, and authorization) Batching and entering all vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable system Preparing and performing cheque runs, EFT uploads, and bill payments Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements to related transactions Responding to vendor inquiries; investigate and resolve any discrepancies Assisting with month-end closing procedures Administering other duties as required What you bring: Well organized, detail-oriented, with a roll up your sleeves attitude towards work Above average proficiency in Excel and excellent data entry speed Knowledge of the transportation industry is considered an asset Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software is considered an asset
