POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): Afognak Native Corporation is seekinga strong Accounts Payable Technician. This position may be based in any of our three corporate offices: Huntsville, AL; Anchorage, AK; or Kodiak, AK or remote nationwide. Receive, review, troubleshoot andforward vendor invoices to appropriate approvers. Daily entry ofvendor invoices, internal payment requests and employee travel expenses. Review and select applicable open payable items to be processedon due date. Complete payment processing ofvendor payments. Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements for past due, duplicate charges, or credit invoices on assigned accounts. Maintain electronicfilenaming and storagesystems. Daily correspondence and collaboration via email, phone or messaging with internal and external stakeholders. Other dutiesor special projectsas assigned.
Payrate:
$21.00 to $25.00 hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
H.S Diploma or equivalent required. Two(2) years ofAccountsPayable experienceis preferred. Detail-oriented teammember who is comfortable in a fast-paced open environment. Ability to work independently or part of a team. Ability to understand approval authorities based on Company Policies. Ability to follow directions, written and verbal. Excellentcommunication, customer service,data entryand organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office, e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams. Proficient in Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of CostPointisrequired.
