Finance Director Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist supports the organization's financial and administrative operations by assisting with billing, payment processing, recordkeeping, and general office functions. This role helps ensure accurate financial tracking, timely billing, and organized documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment. .
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with electronic billing, including preparation of client billing for services Post and record payments accurately in financial systems Assist with paying and tracking organizational bills Maintain and prepare account records and basic financial reports Accounts Payable - Pearson Hall Assist with employee benefits administration, including paperwork and staff support Maintain inventory records and track supplies as needed Organize, file, and maintain financial and administrative documents Coordinate pickup of checks after authorization and signature Support banana boat operations with tracking, documentation, and reporting as required Provide general office and administrative support as needed Assist with audits and financial reviews when necessary Petty cash
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting, finance, or business preferred Previous experience in billing, office administration, or basic accounting preferred Familiarity with basic accounting principles and office procedures Proficiency in computers and standard office software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Good communication and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position in a professional office setting. The role involves routine financial, billing and administrative tasks with guidance from management.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process. This position is important to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization's day-to-day operations through efficient billing and administrative support.
Pay:
$33,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
