Job Description

Professional Fayetteville, AR 1st Shift $15-22/Hour Job Details Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to join their accounting team in Fayetteville, AR. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all incoming payments are processed efficiently and correctly. The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk will handle daily receipting activities, assist with financial reporting, and support the accounting department with a variety of administrative and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk position will be highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced office environment. Candidates with previous accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
Process daily receipting of funds into the bank
Handle cash, checks, ACH payments, and credit card transactions
Review schedules and financial records for accuracy
Prepare and enter journal entries
Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and documentation
Reconcile payment discrepancies and research account issues
Assist with month-end financial reporting activities
Communicate with internal departments regarding account information
Maintain organized filing systems for financial records
Support the accounting department with administrative and clerical tasks
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial data
Qualifications
Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration preferred
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Ability to work with confidential financial information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with accounting software is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
