Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract Take on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students at a local school district near Lavaca, AR. Make a lasting impact as you collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement behavior intervention strategies that enhance students' educational experiences. Your expertise will help create a supportive, inclusive environment in the school community. What you'll bring: Active BCBA certification and licensure Previous experience providing behavior analysis or behavioral support in school settings Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with diverse teams Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies for students with behavioral challenges Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans Commitment to the full academic year (August through late May) You'll be responsible for: Conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments Designing and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Providing direct consultation to staff and educators for student programming Delivering training and support to classroom teams on behavioral interventions and data collection Monitoring and reporting progress to ensure meaningful outcomes Engaging with families to strengthen home-school collaboration and consistency Adhering to ethical standards and state licensure requirements This role is for the entire school year, with a flexible, part-time weekly schedule dependent on the contract arrangement.
