This vital role involves supporting scientific research, quality control, and laboratory operations across various disciplines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, animal physiology, microbiology, and molecular biology, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations. Your expertise will contribute to advancing research initiatives, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and supporting development projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of laboratory procedures including histology, microbiology, molecular biology, and clinical testing to support research and development efforts. Maintain accurate data collection and documentation using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), ensuring compliance with GLP and CGMP standards. Conduct quality control assessments on samples, reagents, and equipment to uphold laboratory integrity and reliability. Support animal physiology studies by preparing specimens, managing sample processing, and understanding veterinary terminology related to research models. Follow detailed laboratory protocols while adhering to safety guidelines aligned with FDA regulations and industry best practices. Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory techniques or assays through meticulous analysis skills and scientific research methods. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research projects involving microbiology, histology, or molecular biology to meet project milestones efficiently. Experience Prior industrial laboratory experience with a focus on scientific research or clinical laboratories is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory procedures including analysis techniques, data collection methods, and laboratory safety protocols. Experience working within regulated environments such as GLP or CGMP settings is advantageous. Familiarity with microbiology, histology, molecular biology techniques, and veterinary terminology enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Proven ability to operate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) effectively for data tracking and reporting. Strong understanding of laboratory techniques combined with excellent math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Previous experience supporting research & development projects or working in a veterinary or clinical research setting will be considered a plus.
