Job Details:
Pay:
from $16.55/hour to $17.60/hour $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Job duties could include: Accurately applying labels to shipping boxes Repeatedly stacking frozen product overhead (up to 40 lbs.) Packing multiple bags of product into boxes Inspecting product and removing items from a moving conveyor belt Assist with product handling, sorting, and /or stacking Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures Keeping any chicken and any other trash off of the floor using a squeegee and a shovel to keep the floor clean Weight product according to product specifications Maintaining quality control and following safety standards in a fast-paced production environment Working Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed Performing all other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds Work environment temperature varies based on area assigned, range between -10 to 75 degrees Reaching, pulling, and/or pulling may be required throughout the shift May require extended periods of standing and/or walking on cement floors Some jobs have repetitive arm, wrist and hand movements; overhead reaching and lifting; bending, stooping and twisting All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
