Job Description

Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the educational experience of students and staff as an onsite Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers a collaborative environment supporting learners with behavioral needs. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with staff and students to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions from August through late May. This is a great chance to expand your professional skills in a dynamic school environment. What we're seeking: Valid BCBA certification and state licensure Previous experience as a Behavior Specialist in school settings Strong skills in functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIP) Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to ethical, data-driven practices Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and weekly hours Role highlights: Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs for students with behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive behavioral outcomes Provide direct modeling of behavioral interventions for school staff Develop and deliver staff training as needed Monitor student progress and adjust interventions using data Participate in student support meetings and IEP teams as a behavioral resource Maintain compliance with all recordkeeping and reporting requirements Why consider this contract opportunity?
