- $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Accounting systems Report writing Client onboarding Writing skills Filing Mid-level Client invoicing Decision making Financial record maintenance Data entry Full Job Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for assisting the Accounts Receivable Supervisor in the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization.
Client File Set-Up:
Entering new client information in system Requests Client Forms, Master Contract and AZ 5000 Files documentsJob Pre-Lien:
Files job pre-lien for new projects Amends and updates pre-lien report upon job increase from original contract amountBilling Meetings:
Updates Billing Report Attends Billing Meetings Creates and compares Pre-Lien Audit and Job list for accuracyRetention Billings:
Adheres to All Retention Billing Schedules Prints change order list with pending approved & internal CORS Assures that no changes were missed to bill Progress Billings Adheres to Billing Schedules Files all billings in client's foldersRevision Requests:
Posts AIA or Invoices, and update billing reportCollections:
Email Statements the 5th of every month Waiver Requests Process unconditional waiver request Assist with any, and all, things deemed appropriate and necessary by the Accounts Payable Supervisor in the Waiver Request processPayment Process:
Verifies payment receipt from client and records in accounting system within 12 hours of receiving the payment Gathers all Invoices, after receiving payment AIA's, and Waivers and files in Job Folder every Friday by end of dayMonthly Reporting:
Arranges a meeting every 1st Thursday of every month with Accounts Receivable Supervisor to collaborate and review any Departmental issues Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking tine to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
