This role combines accounting responsibilities with administrative and office support duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is highly organized, and can effectively manage multiple tasks. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Duties Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Prepare invoices, verify expenses, and reconcile statements. Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. Enter and update accounting data in accounting software. Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation by organizing financial documents. Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments. Office Administration Duties Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems. Schedule meetings, appointments, and company events. Assist with document preparation, data entry, and correspondence. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Support management and staff with administrative tasks and special projects. Help ensure the office remains organized and operates efficiently. Qualifications Associate degree or relevant coursework in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, or office support experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Preferred Skills Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving mindset and willingness to assist wherever needed. Professional, dependable, and proactive approach to work.
