A leading consumer goods manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our in-office team. This is a Temp-to-Hire position designed for a motivated professional looking to establish a long-term career. You will manage high-volume AP transactions, ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time, and support our month-end closing processes. What You Will Do AP Management:
Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Reconciliations:
Review, verify, and reconcile vendor statements, invoices, and accounts to resolve discrepancies quickly.
Bookkeeping:
Prepare and post journal entries in QuickBooks; maintain organized, up-to-date financial records.
Collaboration:
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
Month-End Support:
Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures.
General Admin:
Support day-to-day general office administrative tasks as needed.
What We Are Looking For Experience:
3-5 years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience with a stable work history.
Software Savvy:
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (specifically creating journal entries and reconciliations) and strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Sharp Skills:
High level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Bonus Points:
Prior experience handling Accounts Receivable (AR) or Payroll is a major plus! Additional Job Requirements Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
