Job Summary A local privately held company in the telecommunications services industry is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join its Bakersfield, CA team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a dependable accounting professional with strong Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, reconciliation, QuickBooks, and Excel experience. The Accounting Specialist will support daily financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and assist with monthly financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage full-cycle payroll, including related records, updates, and payroll accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger using QuickBooks and Mastermind software.
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and accounting schedules.
- Support daily accounting operations while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, organization, and reporting. Compensation and Benefits
