Primary responsibilities include full charge bookkeeping, payroll, and other bookkeeping related duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities § Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting principals including the recordation of general journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliation of bank statements. § Applies strong accounting skills, including A/P, A/R, purchasing backup, journal entries, and all bookkeeping through financial statement preparation. § Coordinating with clients in order to prepare payroll checks, deposits and tax returns in a timely manner. § Coordinating with clients in order to prepare property tax returns in a timely manner. § Assisting in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for clients under the supervision of the partners, or other responsible staff. § Participated in any other bookkeeping activities requested by clients. § Participates in activities needed to support the management functions of the team. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) § Two plus years of office or bookkeeping experience. § Payroll skills and use of common bookkeeping software is required. Previous experience in accounting and QuickBooks or related programs. § Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures. § Accuracy and attention to detail is absolutely required, as well as a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits. § Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. § Ability to work independently with little supervision. § Ability to organize and prioritize effectively. § Attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy. § Ability to interpret data and make cost effective decisions. § Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with deadline pressures. § Demonstrated ability in dealing directly with clients. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

§ Frequent same day travel for work at client's offices, meetings, and seminars using a personal vehicle. § Occasional out-of-town travel with overnight stay for work at clients' offices, meetings, or seminars using a personal vehicle. § Work hour requirements various times throughout the year must be flexible to meet needs of clients and firm.
