Undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail, preparing financial documents for inputting, reconciling records, and collecting payments. 9/80 Schedule with every other Friday off $25.00/hourResponsibilities:
Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections. Maintain detailed notes of all collection efforts and customer communications. Investigate, track, and resolve chargebacks, short pays, deductions, and disputes. Research root causes of payment discrepancies, including pricing issues, shortages, returns, and unauthorized deductions. Accurately apply customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) within SAP. Reconcile customer accounts, resolve unapplied cash, and clear discrepancies. Review AR aging reports and escalate delinquent or high-risk accounts. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing, pricing, or shipment-related issues. Assist with credit reviews and provide input on credit limits based on payment history. Generate and distribute customer statements and collection notices. Support month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations. Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation within SAP and shared systems. Serve as backup for incoming phone lines, routing calls to the appropriate departments. Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed.Requirements:
2+ years of accounts receivable experience in a high-volume environment Strong experience with collections and aging management Strong experience with cash applications and payment processingPay:
