Skilled in maintaining accurate financial records, resolving billing discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and meeting deadlines. Clerk will be reporting to the
Accounting Supervisor and Controller Duties:
Reviews daily invoices and gives to the Receptionist to mail out. Reviews and Researches all RMA's Works with the RMA Department and Sales Department with any Discrepancies Closes all RMA's in the ERP System Reviews Customer Aging Reports (Collections) Runs Customer Aging Reports every 2 - 3 Days a week to stay Current Collects on all outstanding Invoices Communicates with Customers in regards to their Payment Details Emails / Calls Customers statements or missing invoices Confirming all payments for Customers outstanding invoices Inputting Customers Payment information into the ERP system Provides Back-up for Freight Payables Researches and matches BOL's for our Freight Forwarders for Payment Communicates with our Freight companies for any discrepancies Communicate with Purchasing and Receiving to resolve any Shipping Issues Researches and Reconciles the Payables Credit Card Payment Collects all Will - Call Orders Monies from our Customers Provide back-up for Receptionist duties Provide back-up for Accounts Receivable in running invoices and depositing Incoming checks.
Qualifications Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or
Experience:
Minimum High School diploma.
Skills and Abilities:
Good computer skills with knowledge of and some experience with Word and Excel. Average math skills with the ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations. Knowledge of general accounting functions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
