Job Overview Noel Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. This position is responsible for full cycle of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month-end close activities, audit support, account reconciliations, and various accounting projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, willing to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
NOTE:
This position is initially offered on a contract to hire basis , employment may be concluded at any time during this period. This arrangement provides an opportunity for both the candidate and Noel Technologies to assess mutual fit. Successful candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent employee status following the completion of the contract period Work Schedule This role requires full onsite presence, Monday through Friday from 8:30a to 5:00pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accounts Payable Full cycle Accounts Payable. Match invoices to purchase orders & receiving documents. Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into NetSuite and/or BILL. Process vendor payments via check, ACH, and other approved payment methods via BILL. Monitor invoice approval workflow and follow up on outstanding approvals. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end Accounts Payable close activities. Assist with external audit Review employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions. Accounts Receivable Full cycle Accounts Receivables. Generate customer invoices and support billing activities. Remote deposit customer checks and apply customer payments received by check, ACH, wire transfer, and credit card. Assist with collections and customer account follow-up. Research and resolve customer account discrepancies. Maintain customer account records and supporting documentation. Support month-end Accounts Receivable close activities. Assist with external audit. General Accounting Assist with monthly account reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain organized accounting records and electronic files. Assist with internal and external audits. Support special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives. Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed. Other accounting duties as assigned. Job description may be changed or updated at any time. Qualifications 3+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting Assistant, or Accounting Specialist experience preferred. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). Experience with BILL.com or similar AP automation software preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Education High School Diploma required. Associate's degree in accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
