Job Description
A growing commercial construction company is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to support project accounting and vendor payment operations. This role will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and accounting leadership to ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesAP & Project Accounting SupportReview and process subcontractor invoices and vendor paymentsMatch invoices with contracts, purchase orders, and project documentationManage lien waiver and compliance documentationReconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepanciesSupport monthly project cost reportingAssist with month-end and year-end close processesAdministrative SupportMaintain organized AP files and vendor documentationCoordinate with project teams regarding approvals and codingCommunicate with vendors regarding payment inquiriesAssist with special accounting projects as assigned
