Job Description

Your work here has a mission behind it. At QB Medical, we get medical equipment and supplies into the hands of the people who care for our veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, that's not a tagline for us - it's who we are. Every invoice you post and every account you keep clean keeps that supply chain moving and keeps care reaching the people who served. We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and wants their day-to-day work to add up to something bigger. What you'll do You'll own the receivables side of our Finance team - applying incoming payments (cash, checks, and credit card), generating customer invoices, processing refunds, and running collections and tracing reports. You'll be the person customers trust to resolve billing questions quickly and fairly, often with minimal hand-holding. You'll keep our books accurate by following sound accounting practices, and you'll jump in to cross-train and support teammates when the department needs it.
In plain terms:
Apply all incoming payments and process refunds Generate customer invoices and handle collections Complete tracing and sales reports Build strong customer relationships and resolve disputes with minimal supervision Cross-train across the department and adapt as priorities shift Hold every transaction to the highest standard of ethics, integrity, and compliance What makes you a great fit 1-2 years of accounts receivable experience A solid grasp of basic accounting principles Sharp attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy Strong written and verbal communication - you're comfortable talking to customers The ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball A dependable, can-do attitude and genuine team-player mentality Strong computer skills (CRM experience, especially Salesforce, is a plus) Education High school diploma required Associate degree in accounting preferred, or an equivalent mix of experience What we offer We invest in our people the way we'd want to be invested in: 401(k) with company matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Flexible spending account Employee assistance program Employee discount Paid time off and paid sick time About QB Medical QB Medical is a trusted medical supplier and partner based in Chula Vista, California, dedicated to simplifying the distribution of medical products across government, military, and commercial healthcare markets.
