Job Description

Cal-Royal Products, Inc., is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk who will assume primary responsibility for warehouse invoicing, open accounts for new customers, credit card payments, collections and most importantly, aging auditing efforts while also providing customer service support to the company.
Classification:
Hourly grade
Non-Exempt Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to the enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Must be an expert at performing A/R duties
  • Sage Software is a huge plus
  • Must be an expert at understanding the aging process
  • Work close with all Sales Reps for the collection process (when needed)
  • Release sales orders in a timely manner
  • Collections, via phone and email (professional and respectful attitude)
  • Credit Memos
  • Generate return labels
  • Post payments
  • Must be comfortable with complex A/R situations and process (a must)
  • Rectify any and all other return issues, with the RMA team
  • Process tickets for pricing, freight, restocking fees, claims and bad debts
  • Distribute monthly statements via email and mail (whichever is preferred by the client)
  • Process refunds (credit, manual and checks)
  • Process freight claim reconciliation
  • Understanding of conditional and unconditional releases
  • Analyze any and all situations when needed
  • Stand in as a back-up for the Accounting Department (Team Player)
  • Must also be detailed orientated
