This will be a long term contract opportunity with our client and will report onsite to their office in Costa Mesa. Accounts Payable Clerk (Level 1 or Level 2) We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This position is available at either the Level 1 or Level 2 level, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will support the Accounts Payable department by processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
Reporting To:
Accounts Payable Manager Key Responsibilities Level 1 Enter invoices accurately into the accounting system Verify vendor statements and assist with account reconciliation File, scan, print, and maintain Accounts Payable documentation Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding Accounts Payable matters Assist with general administrative duties within the department Level 2 Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, check runs, wire transfers, and domestic and international payments Process domestic and international freight invoices Review and classify invoices and purchase orders, posting transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues Follow up on outstanding or unreconciled invoices to ensure timely resolution Qualifications Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred (Level 2 candidates should have hands-on experience with the full AP cycle) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with M3 ERP software is a plus, but not required We welcome candidates with varying levels of Accounts Payable experience and are willing to consider both entry-level and experienced professionals.
Pay Details:
