Full Job Description Interim Accounts Payable Lead Location:

Irvine, CA (Onsite - 5 days/week)

Interim / Contract Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Lead to support our finance team in Irvine. This role will oversee day‑to‑day AP operations, manage a small team, and drive process improvements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong full‑cycle AP expertise, hands‑on leadership experience, and a background working within a large ERP environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute full‑cycle Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, 3‑way matching, vendor maintenance, payment runs, and reconciliations Supervise and provide guidance to 1-2 AP team members , ensuring workload prioritization and adherence to deadlines Review, evaluate, and update AP processes and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Partner with Accounting, Procurement, and Finance to resolve discrepancies and support month‑end close Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements Support system usage, reporting, and troubleshooting within a large ERP environment Qualifications 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience , including full‑cycle AP Prior management or lead experience , overseeing at least 1-2 direct reports Hands‑on experience with a large ERP system (SAP strongly preferred) Demonstrated experience reviewing and improving AP workflows and processes Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset Work Environment Fully onsite in Irvine, CA - 5 days per week Interim role with immediate impact and ownership of AP operations
