Full Job Description AP/AR Accountant:

We are seeking to fill an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk position. Looking for a detail-oriented and well-organized accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the established accounts payable procedures, ensuring accuracy in all departmental invoices, and assisting with daily banking activities. The right candidate will have previous experience as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk, MS Office experience, a high level of attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

Handle LAX/NY branch daily accounting transactions Organize, file, and maintain AP/AR files, accounting records, and associated documents Collaborate with Teams as needed regarding accounting and operational matters Report to and work with the corporate accounting team for month-end closing Perform other miscellaneous duties, as assigned, or requested by management Prepare and process vendor invoices according to established procedures Prepare and distribute payments to vendors Monitor and maintain vendor accounts Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors

Qualifications:

Proficient in Excel and Outlook Self-motivator, dedicated and responsible Impeccable communication skills (written/verbal) Team player Speaking and writing Mandarin is a plus Experience in freight forwarding is a plus
