Accounting Assistant We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Accounting Assistant to join our firm. Part-time but with full-time opportunities. You will support our senior accountants by keeping our financial records precise, our processes smooth, and our clients confident in our work. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will directly support our accountants in delivering exceptional service, ensuring deadlines are met and compliance is never in question. What You'll Do
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support tax preparation by organizing and verifying client documents.
- Communicate with clients to gather missing information or clarify discrepancies.
- Payroll processing and return preparation
- Sales Tax Return preparation Required Skills
- Fundamental accounting knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to identify issues and meet tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with accounting principles.
