Compensation:

$65/hr - $75/hr

Overview:

We are working with a large Inventory-Based client in the Orange County area. They are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Consultant to join their team on an hourly basis. This role is designed for a professional who can quickly ramp up and make a significant impact on their financial processes. The individual will be responsible for month-end close, reconciliations, inventory valuations, and reporting activities. This position is paid on an hourly basis on a W2. Their ideal candidate must have experience in Manufacturing, CPG, or Distribution industries.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Perform heavy reconciliations of financial statements and accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Manage fixed assets, including tracking, reporting, and ensuring proper depreciation. Provide treasury support by assisting in cash management and forecasting. Prepare and post journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure seamless financial processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Proven experience in a Products-Based Company environment. Ability to ramp up quickly and adapt to dynamic work environments.

Compensation:

$65/hr - $75/hr on a W2 basis. Full-time (40 hours per week).
