Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Gardena, California. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing invoice processing, vendor relationships, and payment activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and a strong background in full-cycle Accounts Payable. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and documentation Manage vendor payments and maintain positive vendor relationships Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment and invoice issues Support additional accounting and administrative functions as needed Qualifications Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is required Strong Accounts Payable experience, including full-cycle AP processing Experience with invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework is a plus Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Direct-hire opportunity Stable full-time schedule Professional and collaborative work environment Career growth opportunities Supportive team culture Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Location Gardena, CA 90247 If you have Accounts Payable experience and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, we encourage you to apply today.
