Bookkeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Duties Manage daily bookkeeping activities including data entry of journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks. Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and timeliness Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance documentation for both corporate and non-profit organizations Maintain detailed records of all transactions through double entry bookkeeping and account analysis Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses against forecasts and preparing relevant financial documentation Process Payroll Other tasks assigned Skills Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating with team members

Pay:

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
