- Full-time Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Invoicing Specialist to join our dynamic administrative and accounting team.
This vital role involves managing the entire invoicing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely billing for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, proficiency with Netsuite or Oracle base software, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Understanding shipping procedures with various freight carriers is beneficial. Duties Prepare, review, and process invoices using Netsuite software Ensure all invoicing activities comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to resolve billing issues through effective communication Maintain accurate records of invoice data entry, journal entries, account reconciliation activities, and accounts receivables Administrative duties include but not limited to light filing, interacting with customers, and light phone calls Qualifications Proven experience in accounting or invoicing roles, preferably within manufacturing and retail Strong knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account analysis Proficiency with accounting software such as Netsuite and / or QuickBooks Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail Strong analysis skills combined with effective phone etiquette and customer service abilities Knowledge of financial concepts related to accounts payable/receivable Experience with basic shipping/freight procedures with various carriers is beneficial Join our team as an Invoicing Specialist to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.
