Job Description
Multi-Entity Accounting Specialist Join a technology-forward family-office accounting company in La Jolla, focused on providing tailored services for each client. This role provides day-to-day accounting support for personal and family-office accounts, with strong focus on accurate operations.
STATUS :
Temp-to-Hire (goal of Full-time hire after initial temporary period)
HOURS :
Full-Time hours, 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
WORKPLACE
: This is an in-office position, with parking provided. No remote option
PAY :
$60,000-$70,000 annual, depending on experience

: This client company offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package, including medical (PPO, HMO or HSA), dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with match, PTO, paid holidays Job Duties will include, but are not limited to: Process invoices, bills, and recurring payments Execute ACH, wire, check, and electronic payments Maintain payment schedules, records, and vendor relationships Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit card accounts Track investment cash activity, income, and transfers Research and resolve account discrepancies and variances Record transactions, prepare journal entries, and maintain general ledger Support accruals, prepaid expenses, and inter-company activity Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, P&Ls, and balance sheets Assist with cash flow reporting, tax support schedules, and expense tracking Coordinate with external advisors and maintain confidential financial records Support process improvements, special projects, and ad hoc financial requests Requirements include, but are not limited to: 3-6+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or family-office accounting experience required, including ability to manage multiple accounts/entities with accuracy Strong experience with bank, credit card, and investment account reconciliations Experience preparing or supporting P&L and balance sheet reporting Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar accounting systems Strong proficiency with Excel, type 45wpm High level of discretion and confidentiality Experience with wealth management, trusts, high-net-worth individuals preferred, including understanding of investment activity and brokerage statements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field highly preferred (High School diploma or equivalent required at minimum) Must be able to pass Background check and Drug screen requirements Legal residents of CA only.
