You will provide support within the Accounting and Human Resources department, handling a high volume set of tasks. You must possess effective communication skills and a high level of confidence in your abilities, as you will work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues Work with HR and employees to track and enter time and attendance Work side by side with HR and assisting in recruiting; phone screening, setting up interviews, updating recruiting spreadsheet Communicates regularly with Human Resources, employees, and Supervisors/Managers Working as an entry-level accountant for payroll-related audit, payroll reports, and other related duties Assist with annual tax and compliance documents and year end 1099's Support accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry Verify data by comparing it to source documents Accounts Payable - processing invoices, check runs, and vendor management Accounts Receivable - billing/invoicing, deposits, and reconciliations Performs other accounting and finance duties as required Support HR, Accounting, and Sales Support as needed Perform other tasks and duties as needed and directed by management.

Requirements:

Entry-level position; minimum 2-year college or associate's degree (emphasis/specialization in Accounting, Finance, or related field) 3 years of relevant Accounting experience 2 years' recent experience with QuickBooks (desktop or online) Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Strong analytical skills; extremely organized with great attention to detail Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities

Preferred:
