Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with proficiency in QuickBooks Online to join our team at Trader Bos. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records while also overseeing warehouse inventory management. Your expertise in QuickBooks Online and inventory tracking will be essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
Manage and track warehouse inventory, including receiving, organizing, and reconciling stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Utilize QuickBooks Online to record inventory transactions, such as purchases, sales, and adjustments. Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions related to inventory. Prepare inventory-related reports, including stock levels, valuation, and movement. Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory management procedures. Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends, anticipate needs, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Work closely with the finance team to reconcile inventory-related accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably with inventory management responsibilities. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential. Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
