Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Seeking a multifaceted candidate who will work on accounting matters, compliance with regulatory requirements, and consumer communications. The position requires managing the processing of incoming inquiries from consumers/borrowers regarding their loans, preparing financial quotes in response to those inquiries, communicating directly with lenders regarding the inquiries, and providing support to the larger business unit related to these processes. The role will be with the accounting team but will also coordinate with multiple groups to provide support. We are looking for a dynamic person who is looking to join a growing team. This is a full-time, in-office position in Downtown Long Beach, CA, with standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicating with borrowers and their agents regarding quotes, drafting said quotes, and updating the internal systems regarding the process. Communicating with lenders regarding financials and billing of these processes. Processing incoming funds. Communicating with clients and third parties regarding these funds. Sending incoming funds out to clients timely. Reviewing final sale funds results, requesting the necessary checks for all parties, and sending the funds to the required parties. Ensuring timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a high volume of email correspondence. Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates, borrowers, and lenders. Providing exceptional customer service to borrowers and clients at every level of interaction, including timely status updates and follow-up on outstanding documents and/or services. Consistently and accurately update the firm's internal case management system, as well as all lender systems. Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
High School Diploma. Associate's degree or above preferred. Billing and check processing experience preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, lenders attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties. Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner. Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change. Ability to read and write at a high level for proof reading and editing purposes. High-level proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. This a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
