This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in dental billing, insurance follow-up, and collections. Responsibilities Submit and track dental insurance claims Follow up on outstanding claims and appeals Resolve claim denials and underpayments Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Review EOBs and ensure accurate posting of payments Manage patient and insurance accounts receivable Follow up on outstanding patient balances Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status Maintain accurate records in practice management software Assist with financial arrangements and patient account questions Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental billing and insurance experience Strong understanding of PPO, HMO, and out-of-network insurance plans Experience with insurance aging reports and collections Knowledge of CDT codes and dental terminology Familiarity with Eaglesoft preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and able to work independently Position Details Full-time or part-time available Competitive hourly pay based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth and performance bonuses Preferred Experience Insurance aging cleanup Appeals and claim resubmissions Accounts receivable management Dental front office experience
