(L.A. Girl & L.A. Colors) headquartered in Ontario, California, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. Responsibilities & Duties Posting and applying payments (checks, credit cards, wire transfers, ACH) received from customers Balancing and verifying correct payment applications to the correct account Collecting on past due accounts Responding to accounts receivable requests and inquiries Preparing invoices, credit/debit memos, and statements Processing RMAs, credit memos, and returns Researching and reconciling discrepancies and short payments in a timely manner Using own independent judgment to release or hold new orders and establish credit limits Working with other internal departments, including customer service and sales as it pertains to receivables and vendor compliance Resolving customer disputed deductions pertaining to pricing, allowances, discounts, damages, shortages, and claims Demonstrate exemplary team skills by maintaining a professional, positive, and supportive attitude Perform other duties and projects assigned Minimum Requirements 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivables, Accounting, or Finance Associate degree or equivalent preferred Proficient with MS applications, primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbal and written Ability to recognize priority tasks, and move forward accordingly Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities Strong detail orientation, communication, and listening skills Strong teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships Strong work ethics and positive attitude. High level of integrity and confidentiality Bilingual a plus Maintaining good attendance and punctuality required.
Hours:
Full Time position, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. On-Site (No hybrid/No work from home)

Salary Range:
$21-$25/hour. Depending on experience and skill level.
