Bookkeeper and Administrative Support Specialist Plumas Lake, CA 95961 $25.19 - $30.34 an hour - Temporary, Part-time, Temp-to-hire $25.19 - $30.34 an hour - Temporary, Part-time, Temp-to-hire Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Support Specialist to join our team! This vital role combines accurate financial record-keeping with efficient administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our small office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills. You will handle accounting, Quick Books Online, clerical tasks and manage bookkeeping responsibilities. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster a welcoming environment while maintaining precise financial and administrative processes. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online, including invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations. Maintain organized filing systems for both physical documents and digital records using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools Support office management tasks such as calendar management, filing, handling insurance certificates and maintainging records, running errands. Perform data entry with high accuracy, including client information, billing details, and other administrative records Assist with proofreading documents to ensure clarity and correctness before distribution Handle customer service needs, timecards and providing exceptional support and support documentation as needed. Experience Proven office experience with a strong background in accounting, Quick Books online, clerical duties and administrative support Previous bookkeeping experience, especially with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Bilingual skills are desirable but not required to communicate effectively with diverse team members Familiarity with office management software (Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Strong Excel), and data entry procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent typing speed combined with good proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all communications We value energetic professionals who thrive on multitasking and delivering top-tier support!
