The candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced office, as well bookkeeping experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize and multi-task successfully, strong organizational and time-management skills, and computer proficiency with all Microsoft Office products. The candidate should understand and be familiar with appointment scheduling, maintaining business systems, and have excellent phone and people skills, as well as possess a high level of professionalism, strong work ethics, reliability and be team-oriented.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Accounting or Business, preferred Minimum of 2 Years working in an office environment with bookkeeping responsibilities required Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills Proficient and accurate with data entry Proficient usage of customer relation management software and Excel for report creation and spreadsheet updates Previous experience with cash handling, preferred Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language, and be able to communicate via e-mail fluently Ability to manage critical deadlines, have keen attention to detail and must be able to work collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth office operations Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations; deal tactfully with personnel, customers, visitors, government agencies and the public to achieve positive outcomes for customers and company goals. Must be high energy and willing to work hard Goal oriented and highly ethical Excellent organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office proficiency and Internet usage/searchDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain communications with current, former and prospective customers via phone, Internet, and/or text messages as required 2. Update and maintain all customer management systems 3. Become knowledgeable of the organization's programs, terminology, practices and policies 4. Establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff, vendors, and contracted agencies 5. Assist with preparation of contractual documents 6. Maintain customer files 7. Ensure that fellow employees and management are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from customers 8. Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times to all current and prospective customers 9. Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of customer outreach efforts 10. Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment 11. Utilize various Microsoft Office products, Quickbooks, as well as other software to complete assignments 12. Update accounts receivable and issue account statements 13. Enter Bills into Accounting System for payment 14. Perform other duties as assigned Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test, including marijuana. A credit check will also be performed. We are a Smoke-Free and Drug-Free facility.
