Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the overall financial health of our organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will help us streamline processes, prepare precise reports, and uphold the integrity of our financial data. Duties Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently and accurately Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and governmental accounting standards Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and financial analysis to support organizational decision-making Conduct account reconciliation tasks including debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and account analysis to maintain data integrity Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, non-profit accounting practices, and governmental accounting standards Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes Familiarity with GAAP guidelines and technical accounting concepts Experience with payroll processing, tax compliance, and financial report writing is highly desirable Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account analysis and general ledger management Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and support audit processes Join us in a role that empowers you to apply your accounting expertise in a meaningful way!
